After placing the “SPARKLE
PLUS CUBE” in the pump basket the water will slowly dissolve the
cube. The active ingredients of the cube remove suspended particles from
the water and deposits them on the Filter bed. Actual dissolving time will
vary depending on water temperature, pump pressure,
pump/filtration-running time. Even after the cube is totally dissolved the
active ingredients will continue to work on the Filter for up to 4 weeks.
1. Continual use of SPARKLE PLUS cube will
assist in the removal of phosphates from the pool water. Phosphates are a
known source of nutrients for algae.

removed by the active ingredients of Sparkle Plus cube and trapped by the

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. Pool water should be clean and free from algae prior to use. If algae
is present check and adjust pH and then shock dose with chlorine to kill
existing algae or add a recommended algaecide.
2. Remove SPARKLE PLUS cube from plastic bag
and place cube into the pump basket.
3. Replenish with fresh “SPARKLE PLUS” cube
every 4 weeks to maintain sparkling clear pool water.
4. ALWAYS USE WITH A REGISTERED DISINFECTING AGENT.
WINTER AND HOLIDAY MAINTENANCE
“SPARKE PLUS” Cube is the ideal Winterize or
Holiday maintenance product.
HOLIDAYS- The following program is suitable for normal pool treatment for
up to two weeks. For up to 4 weeks add two stabilized chlorine tablets in
a ¬footing dispenser. Immediately prior to going on holidays clean pool of
all leaves.
Check water balance (ph and Total Alkalinity) and adjust if necessary.
(pH7.2 - 7.6, T.A 80-150ppm) Super chlorinate the pool by adding 3 times
the normal dose of chlorine. Place fresh Sparkle Plus cube in the pump
basket. Set pump/Filter cycle to minimum 4 hours per day. On return from
holidays again check water balance and adjust if necessary. Super
chlorinate pool water. Swimming may commence when chlorine levels reach
normal levels (1-13ppm).
WINTER - Clean pool of all leaves, vacuum
walls and ¬floor. Check water balance (pH and Total Alkalinity) and adjust
if necessary. (pH7.2 - 7.6, T.A 80-150ppm) Super chlorinate the pool by
adding 3 times the normal dose of chlorine.
Place fresh Sparkle Plus unit in skimmer box. Set pump/Filter cycle to
minimum 2-3 hours per day. During winter months when pool is not in use
for swimming it should be chlorinated monthly. This will oxidize dissolved
contaminants and assist in the removal of leaf stains.
In salt pools a running time of 2-3 hours should provide sufficient
chlorine to oxidize contaminants.
Normal start up procedure should be followed prior to swimming.
